Too late to do damage control. The GOP has taken that Gaffe and is running with it. The idea that infrastructure helps us all can not take away from the that horrible mistake of telling hard working people that it was not their effort and investment that built their business. You could go even further and suggest that most successes are in spite of government and not because of it.
