Tragic movie theater mass shooting in Colorado
« Thread Started on Jul 20, 2012, 2:54pm »

There has been a mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado, 12 people reported dead, 70+ reported injured.

A suspect dressed like a Batman thug entered a crowded Colorado theater and shot and tear gassed numerous movie goers.

What is happening to our society?? :(

A few significant rumors:

1. when called, the shooters mom said, "I'm not surprised."

2. the youngest person wounded is age 3. WHO THE HCAL takes their three year old to a midnight matinee?

3. this changes the cultural phrase, "What's up Holmes?" forever.

Careful now when you say, "He's my man, Holmes!" You might scare the hcal out of someone...seriously.

The media today seems fixated on the expressions this guy had in court today. Was it drugs, exhaustion, remorse? I don't think it was any of that. I think he was imagining his first day amongst the general population in prison. You know, the day that some nice gentleman goes "hey Holmes, you are now my boi toi!" The dude was imagining the images of his new owner reminding him daily about the horrific actions that he committed. That would make anyone's eyes roll around in their heads.

P.S. I know, I know. He will never be in the prison general population. But he certainly deserves to be.

Unfortunately, the correct question is never asked. The correct question is not about having or not having guns. The correct question is why so many Americans believe they can resolve disputes and grievances through the use of violence. Until that question is answered, the bull$#!+ will continue.
