I always thought starship troopers was a great film, so why did they go ruin it by making two horrible sequels? Those two sequels are two of the worst scifi films I have ever seen.
Why?

The first movie was a steaming pile of $#!+. Jeez, read the farking book (as I did when I was 14) and then get back to us. I assume you are capable of reading an SF novel?

hah, good one. I am quite well versed in Science fiction, my friend:) From Arthur C. Clark, Frank Herbert, Stanislaw Lem, Robert Silverberg(Dying Inside is one of the best Science Fiction books I've ever read), all the way to Phillip K dick, Peter F. Hamilton... I could go on. I grew up reading Science Fiction, its actually one of the few genres that still interests me. Though, I must say, I've never been a big Heinlein fan.
I liked Starship troopers as a Science Fiction film. Of course, I'd rather watch something along the lines of Tarkovsky's Solaris any day, but for what it is, I think Starship Troopers is pretty entertaining... though, I havent actually sat down to watch it lately...
you got any suggestions of Science Fiction films, or books, that I might be interested in?
