it looks like it's going to be a new logo this year, especially if the home jerseys say "Aztecs" across the chest like we've already seen. Why have "Aztecs" on the helmets AND jerseys?

I hope it's the DS logo or the A logo with the spear through it.


I'd rather them go with the SD. Can't wait to see the entire uniforms.

That is the spear from what many call the DS logo. I think that is going to look great.

Kind of hard to tell from looking at the front of the helmet rather than from the side, but is it just the spear from the DS logo or the entire DS logo on the side of the helmet?

It's our logo, it's what appears on ESPN and cbs tourney, etc next to our name, it ain't going anywhere particularly for a human face, so, it's time to start focusing on it. Basketball uniform should probably find a way to integrate it like the a-spear has been a patch on the football pants since bball is our main marketing arm right now

only womanly complaint I have is our helmets are way too metallic and so it becomes some crazy color that doesn't match anything else we wear

Yeah, that was my first thought.

The guy who told me the red camo was just a mock up implied nothing new would be happening with the helmets this year. Can't say he out-right said that, but definitely a guy who would know.

And like everyone else, I really would love to see the DS state logo on one side of the helmet.

No problem. I contacted Lens Crafters and they're going to make me some special glasses that cover up the right side of our helmets.

If they don't work there will only be a 50% hit to my mental health anyway. Then I'll become JOCAZTEC2.

I hate them, but then again I don't have to wear them. To me is nothing special looks like a Pop Warner uniform, nothing special the team name over the team school typical Nike lack of style and tradition. Since uniforms recruit players according to what some say; since they changed the uniform I am sure we will be neck and neck with SC for all the top players in So-Cal now.

I assume the players and the recruits like them, They seem to tweet about them a lot.
