so would this mean Utah Valley and Bakersfield are still homeless?

Considering that UVU has been subsidizing its athletics teams to the tune of some ridiculous amount like 88%, for them to have even discussed joining the WAC was absolutely absurd. If anything, that school should be considering DROPPING DOWN a notch.

I still don't get you guys in the NSBW refusing to admit Bakersfield. That school is located in a county with like half a million people who would love to support the university. After all, Bakersfield College has had a high quality hoops program for years. And its an easy road trip for everybody. Frankly, I wonder whether schools like CSUN and UCR aren't afraid the hicks from Buck Owensville might not embarrass them.

You're either stupid or still sleeping; UH > Bake. SDSU > Bake. Boise > Bake.

When whores like SDSU leave when Jon offers you the right deal, the BW doesn't want to be stuck with Bake.

If Boise doesn't get in, the BW can live with 9 teams.

Bake coming into the BW would mean they would be the smallest school, even smaller than private school UOP. Yeah, I know UOP leaves after this year. The 2nd smallest BW school after UOP, would still be about double the enrollment at Bake. While there is potential for growth at Bake, it's not happening with budget cuts and enrollment freezes and fee increases through the CSU system. So even if the student passed a fee referendum, it wouldn't raise as much money for athletics as the BW CSU's with their 25K or more enrollments.
