Best case scenario from a national perspective is go back to California State University-San Diego and unofficially be "California State" in the same way that UC-Berkeley is "California" or CSU-Fresno is "Fresno State." If SDSU becomes a charter campus our Flagship status can no longer be questioned by the likes of SJSU ( the oldest CSU).

Although it was printed in the lalatimmies some time ago that fucla was going to re-characterized its smahll college in Westweird from fucla to FULAC, nothing further appears to be moving this idea along. ULAC was the new character for fucla. ULAC a brain, ULAC any charm, ULAC character.
