I got my flag plus an extra. They were handing them out in the parking lot at 2:30pm while tailgating. If you show up ten minutes before kickoff then there was no flags available. Next time people should show up early. My only complaint was the flag was white. Wish they would have made them black.
Well, marketing and athletics better get their heads out of their asses and figure out who is paying their freight. It ain't the students.

We pay Schnall and the others to market and do promotions and 90% of them are f#&ked up. We didn't get flags either. Someone was walking around the parking lot handing something like that out.
When I went in at 4:10 I didn't even see the boxes. Something tells me they only took them to the gate nearest the trolley, which would be why all the students got em.
My buddy AB and I were stretched out in our old section in B1 and this cutie comes by with a butt load of flags and asks us if we would like "some". Take as many as you want she says. Then she starts handing out bundles to whoever shows an interest.

if the people you're bringing are going to decide not to come again based on the fact that they didn't get a free flag that 21,000 people didn't get AND a 42-7 victory isn't enough to get them fired up, they probably shouldn't come again. thanks for bringing them, but there's no way this should have ruined or even mildly affected your evening.
