BTW, among the reasons I hate the DS State logo is it looks inauthentic. Everybody thinks it contains an arrow since the "D" is in the shape of a bow. However, the Aztecs didn't fight with bows and arrows like North American indigenous people did. So in reality, that thing on our current logo isn't an arrow, it's a spear even though it looks like an arrow.

Compare to Neb's new unis, SDSU are of Oregon quality and style. Anyone remember the Domino's Pizza mascot from the 80s and early 90s? The noid? That's what they will look like.

No demand, but Time Warner has bought the rights to the Aztec Football Games (Maybe More). Sterk walked the line, but man you can tell he did not like that fact. He sounds pissed at the conference and at the destination of the games. Reading between the lines, I think that since the MW leveraged State and Boise for deals with TV (per Sterk), that they should have made some accommodations, but it sounds like the MW took the highest bidder (Time Warner and again hahaha) even though they have not established a distribution channel.
In the end, we decided to leave the MW and with that the MW owes us nothing.

It looks like its safe to say there will be no SDSU football or basketball on Fox Sports SD this year.

I guess that means many Aztec games won't be on Direct TV this year. I wonder if Time Warner will extend Cox the opportunity of carrying TW produced games on Channel 4. Cox let TW show Padres games for years.

FM, isn't that a good thing? TW customers have been without SDSU sports for a long time.

Considering that they do not have distribution agreements, it will only be seen on the TW system.
Which Means, anyone not local or not with TW in the county will be shut out. So ya, the MW took the biggest $ and screwed State and San Diego in the process.
So now TW, who claims there is no demand for the NFL network, Padres, and Aztecs are going to be the rights holders for State for this year. The same people that sued Cox to try and get the Aztec Games on 4 that they were cut off from, now have to be in the same position as the Aztecs, NFL, and Padres in trying to get distribution in SD.
I have a feeling the MW would not have done this to CSU, WYO, or AFA. Their new alien overlords.

it looks like it's going to be a new logo this year, especially if the home jerseys say "Aztecs" across the chest like we've already seen. Why have "Aztecs" on the helmets AND jerseys?
