Good props to Tyler in Sports Illustrated feature, "Where are they now?" Obviously, it starts out telling Earl's story.

Great story.

I was just a boy when Earl Sr. was dominating the NFL, but I remember him. Earl Sr. ran like LT and was just as fast, but he was about 20 pounds heavier and often looked for contact. Get this: each one of his thighs was bigger than his waist. An absolute man in a man's game.

Earl Sr.'s senior year at Texas.

One of Earl Sr.'s most famous runs:

Kudos to Tyler! Thanks to research that led to a daily oral medication for MS (rather than shots), *I* am here to say that getting the word out WORKS! Daily oral medication works! Rode my bike 32 miles this morning. F U, MS! ;D

I like to go early. I was on the road by 6:30AM. Sun didn't come out until the last half-hour.

You are correct. At least I used to. Not so sure anymore (just kidding). Had some pretty significant relapses in the 11 years before 2009 when I made it into the drug trial for the stuff I'm on now! I just want people to know that the words "multiple sclerosis" DON'T have to scare the shiat out of you. It can be really, really bad for some people but not so for others. You just deal with it as things come.

For Tyler Campbell to have hidden what he was going through from everyone but the coach and his roommate at the time was miraculous. AND for him to keep playing = amazing. And humbling.
