Both games to take place on November 9, 2012. Which game will get the better TV deal?

So is that game on a carrier on the east coast? I like this carrier rivalry that is developing.

One will probably land on CBS and the other on ESPN.

CBS national doesn't do regular season college basketball on weeknights.
The deal for Ohio State is for the women's and men's teams to play a doubleheader and they have already agreed for the games to be on an ESPN network.
ESPN2 already has Big East football scheduled for 11/9
SDSU/Syracuse will not be on an ESPN network IMO. It will end up on NBC Sports, CBS Sports, or FSN.

Thats too bad. I was hoping that we would be on ESPN. Maybe Big East football could be bumped that day? SDSU/Syracuse will not be on an ESPN network IMO. It will end up on NBC Sports, CBS Sports, or FSN. |

With an East Coast/West Coast thing happening...I could see us on ESPN right after the east coast game.
We will all wait and see what happens.

A possibility for sure but I think it depends on what they want to do with that women's game. It also comes down to the promoters and sponsors.
I'm under the impression that there are two separate promoters for each of these east coast/west coast events. My guess is that unless the promoters and ESPN could get the same title sponsor for all three games, there is a slim chance that they all end up on the same channel.
My guess is that if ESPN does pick up the SDSU/Syracuse game, it would probably end up on ESPNU.

I doubt it. Our game is still gonna be huge, and I'm sure the scheduling committees aren't dumb enough to schedule the games at the same time. Why couldn't the ESPN network pick up both games? Even if they are the same time, one could easily go on ESPN2. It sure beats any other sport that will be active on a Friday afternoon; I'm sure ESPN would love to have it.
