The game against you won't be easy but the game the following week might be the toughest OOC game any team will play this coming season. @LSU Stanford @Oregon USC
All in the first 6 games. If we are even 4-2 after that stretch we are ranked. 5-1 and we are top 10.

2001RoseBowl,
Your schedule is really, really tough. No need to denigrate our schedule. Besides, no one really knows how good these teams are going to be until the end of the season. So it's really just speculation anyway you cut it.
I'd rather have a brutal schedule. Easy schedules make it near impossible to win a national title.
Oh boy! Are you ever getting ahead of yourself!
Maybe in 5-10 years we can complain about our schedule not being tough enough, but not now.
AzWm
I see. Nevertheless, his statement is foolish with respect to SDSU. For that matter, I don't see too many folks who expect the Huskies to compete for the NC any time soon.

I'm sure we will see more husky posters here before Sept. 1st. Hopefully they will be knowledgeable and bring thoughtful posts re: the game rather than smearing our school, conference & players. You know stuff that Tenn. fans didn't bring!

Folks up your way aren't redneck crackers. I'm sure we'll see plenty of good UW posters even if we haven't seen one yet.
Our 2000 team had some of the most clutch wins ever.
You sure you're not confusing 2000 with some other year? Yeah, we won at BYU with a last second FG but we only won two other games that year and season ended with the UNLV scoring a TD at Qualcomm with a minute or two left following which Jason Thomas did his infamous throat-slashing move in front of our bench. I wish one of our players would have ran out and decked that wannbe gangbanger.

Well we have Won 7 Rose Bowls. That's pretty elite. Our 2000 team had some of the most clutch wins ever.
Ah yes, how can we forget those days of exclusivity and non-rotating BCS bowls? BTW, which Pac team did TCU prevent from adding to those Rose Bowl victories?

You guys who are so worried about attendance at this year's home games seem to forget that it really doesn't matter. When you win, people do show up. What have we been doing the past two years?
We have improved in numbers, and as we keep winning it will increase just as it did in basketball. Now look at our basketball totals as compared to just 6 years ago! Give it some time.
